NO ONE? Really? I knew it, and so what? samsung made the procie but they cant reach iphone quality. now who's the boss now?
This may help... Before the Google goggles slip down, it's the same reason the 64-bit variant of the Tegra K1 gets it's decent numbers (shame the platform has so few Apps optimised for either tablet display or hardware)
Exactly where are you getting this information? The A7 does not execute more instructions per cylce and Google did not confess to anything. *coughapplefanboyCough*
not really iPhones are terrible. Dude the 6+ bends and the 6's camera is sticking out.
Have a look on apple specification page on a 7 chip you got 64 bit arhitecture and 4 mb cache on L 3 and 1 mb on L 2 cache per core so 2 mb total . Plese corect this . You can't compare an 64 bit cpu with x86 cpu so you got 2 mb on snapdragon on l2 and on a7 you got 2mb on l2 and 4mb on l3
So what? Next year they may be manufactured by TSMC. The key advantage is the design which is very much Apple's.
Not really that funny, the A7 executes 3x as many instructions per cycle than the 800 (or any other ARM variant). Apple can even clock the cores way down and still get 75% higher performance. As most mobile software isn't super scalar like Geekbench the extra cores are fairly redundant. Then there's iOS vs Android; Google have just confessed that Android's been running at half the speed it should have. These SoCs aren't really in the same class and Apple's real world performance is several times higher than competitors'.
I know that, I think has Samsung produced most the chips for apple.
its 64bit, so it should be much faster for low core programs. programs that use 4 cores should go to snapdragon on an easy win.
Funny How no one seems to realize that the A7 chip is actually manufactured by Samsung.

Lol. Funny how the Snapdragon is still worse than the A7 in real world tests even though it has higher and more expensive specs. Apple does it better.
