The Nvidia Tegra 3 and the Intel Atom Z2760 are two processors that have their own merits, and the devices that they are used in reflect those merits.
As a processor the Atom is just better, despite having two cores less than the Tegra- the Tegra has four, the Atom has only two. The lack of two cores is decently compensated by the fact that the Atom is Hyperthreaded, which means it can handle up to four parallel threads, instead of only two. Furthermore, the Atom has a higher clock speed of 1.8GHz to the 1.6GHz of the Tegra. While both provide the same amount of L2 cache of 4MB, the Atom offers a dual channel memory controller and also boasts a newer manufacturing process, which is expected due to the fact the Atom is, in fact, newer than the Tegra.
So, in conclusion, the Intel Atom Z2760 outdoes the Nvidia Tegra 3 (T33) by a bit, but that is enough to call it the better processor, but- on the other hand- if you are looking for a processor, and consequently a device, that can handle more tasks and applications at once then the Tegra is the better choice due to its superior number of cores.
