It´s a theorethical value, in real world scenarios, due to the multiple cores/threads the i7 outclasses by far the P4's processing power, using less electricity and producing less heat.
it allways faster than i7 on a straight job like when u say do something to both processor pentium does that in certain speed with what it has like 1 core i7 thinks like a woman thats why its a bit slow but you know its a new technology like woman
