HQ has 100% more power. In VR CPU and GPU are very important. The different is huge. 6500U is better for battery life. Even an A12-9700 from AMD outperforms your 6500U.
Nvidia recommends the i7 6700HQ for VR and I have the 6500U, I'm just wondering whether it would make that big of a difference in VR performance?
