Not Haswell Refresh, it's Haswell that's a gamble. Each i5 4670k and i7 4770k are inconsistent overclockers. Haswell Refresh CPUs, such as the Pentium G3258 and i7 4790k overclock way more consistently, and better in most cases.
i got myself 4690k..
i will buy 4690k..
No notable difference in gaming. You should go with the 4670K.
for casual gaming and surfing and shit is 4770k worth 100€+ price in comparison with 4670/4690k ?? When i play i play fps or gta type games..
B.S .. i will still stick with my old i5 2500k u.u
Apparently the I5 4670k is a furnace, though that's technically normal for a haswell(?) refresh. The 4690k though, is apparently supposed to have better temperatures and, if you're into it, better overclocking. honestly though, if you already bought the 4670k, it's best to stick with that for now, but if you haven't bought it yet or whatever, i suggest the 4690k. mostly because of that temperature difference. or at least i hope there is a difference. im buying a 4690k in a couple days for my build, so i guess i'll be able to test it out first hand? lol overall though, both processors are wonderful for gaming.
Very similar but which one still comes out on top for gaming?
