grab intel for gaming. amd for work/light gaming
which one, would be better for gaming?
who is the best processor for gta5 from i5 4gen or amd fx 8320
I run the 8320, I love the thing. Really hoping AMD comes with something dope next gen. As long as it has more power and less TDP, I'm willing to pay a good bit more than a 8320 would cost, but less than what a top i5 or low i7 would cost. Hopefully in the $180-$220 range, next year I don't want to go Intel but I will if I have to.
I would buy 8320 anytime compared to the 4440, but i had to admit, so much better single core performance, with so lower power consumpion, means its a more "quality" cpu. Intels are expensive as f*ck but they can, for example, execute more instrictions per cpu-cycle, thats why a 3.1Ghz haswell core can outrun an 3.5Ghz or even 4Ghz VISHERA core.
Normally the 8320 has 7,6 points, but the "Boss" sites like to shrink dem numbers for Intel and nVidia...
Not just that, but the fx has support for more instructions, which means it has a greater performance potential.
so the 8320 wins everything other than single core benchmarks and is cheaper. but the I5 wins
