Intel Pentium B960

Released October, 2011
  • 2.2 GHz
  • Dual core
5.5 Out of 10

The Intel Pentium B960 is a processor that’s based on the Sandy Bridge technology that was released in 2011. It’s equipped with two cores, each of them maxing out on speeds of 2.2GHz. Unfortunately many features (Turbo Boost, Hyperthreading, Virtualisation, etc) are disabled. The B960 also has an integrated GPU that’s called Intel HD Graphics, and is based on the Intel HD Graphics 2000 model- it’s clocked at 650 MHz. This processor is perfect for entry-level laptops. The B960 performs better, on its own, than a i3-330M processor with Hyperthreading and an overclock.
