The Intel Pentium 2117U is a dual core ULV (Ultra Low Voltage) processor that is perfectly fitting for entry-level laptops, due to its low power consumption and decent speed. The two cores are clocked at 1.8GHz, but unfortunately there is no option for overclocking them. The 2117U, as well as others in the Ivy Bridge series, comes with an integrated Intel HD Graphics that is based on the HD Graphics 2500 series. This CPU suits any form of smaller laptop, that is used for simpler everyday tasks, but nothing like heavy gaming or anything else of the sort.
