With Z170, support is far north of 26.67x, all the way to 41.33x. Don't expect to overclock that high on launch (they don't even have memory kits that high yet), but 36.00x works pretty well on the ASUS Maximus VIII Hero.

Now whether the 6700K can beat out that Devil's Canyon part remains to be seen.
We have heard of Skylake leaks - a.k.a. Skyleaks - for a while now, and the rumors point to an August release for these new LGA 1151 chips (sorry LGA 1150 motherboard owners)!

If clocks are equivalent, this could translate well over a teraflop (~1.2 TFLOPs) of compute performance in addition to discrete graphics.
For someone who is interested in GPU compute, especially with Explicit Unlinked MultiAdapter in DirectX 12 upcoming, it would be nice to see GPUs be ubiquitous and always enabled.
