The Intel Celeron 1007U is an ULV (Ultra Low Voltage) processor of the Ivy Bridge series. It sports two cores, each clocked at 1.5GHz. Unfortunately due to its design, the processor doesn’t include functions like Hyperthreading or Turbo Boost, but this doesn’t mean it is bad at what it does. Because of that same design the 1007U, and the integrated HD Graphics- based on the HD Graphics 2500- offer good performance for smaller laptops or notebooks, which are meant for simpler tasks, like surfing the internet or watching videos, and not something like heavy gaming or video encoding.
