The Intel Atom Z2760 is a SoC (System on a Chip) core that is primarily used in Windows 8 Tablets. The Z2760 sports two cores that are clocked at 1.8GHz and can handle up to four simultaneous threads to improve its performance. The Z2760 also includes Burst Technology, meaning the processor is capable of bursting to a higher performance on demand, providing the device a significant boost. The integrated graphics card is clocked at 533 MHz, also including hardware acceleration support, allowing the Z2760 to encode or decode 1080p videos. Finally the processor is designed in such a way that it minimizes power consumption when possible, making the battery life of the device quite promising.

Having used this hardware first hand I can tell you that it was quite impressive - light weight yet with a great screen and highly interactive interface.
For video playback the Intel Clover Trail design is again competitive with the ARM-based Android tablet and falls behind the iPad 2 by a couple of hours.
