AMD Athlon II X4 630

Released September, 2009
  • 2.8 GHz
  • Quad core
5 Out of 10

With a stock speed of 2.8GHz, I was able to overclock to 4GHz using after market air cooling and a very respectable 5586 MHz with LN2.

I'm very surprised to find that CINEBENCH added more strain to the system than 3DMark Vantage (results on the next page).

I am finding the chip stalls more often than not, I've been running it for years though and it's starting to be to weak, but what do do for less than a 100 bucks. Next time I will pay more for a chip that will last a bit more than this one.
