Released May, 2013
  • 1 GHz
  • Dual core
5.4 Out of 10

The AMD A4 1250 is a processor used in subnotebooks and tablets, based on the new Jaguar architecture. It was released in mid-2013 and sports two 1GHz cores, along with an integrated Radeon HD 8210 GPU. The GPU itself is clocked at 300MHz and offers 128 shaders. Also, the GPU is on par with the Intel HD Graphics series, which are used in the Ivy Bridge processors, indicating that it’s capable of performing on par with a laptop. The power consumption of the A4 1250 is also relatively low, helping to elongate the life of the battery.
